10 new students:
An opportunity for you
I think we can all agree that 2020 has been a tumultuous year. And as people of faith, I’m guessing that we are all praying for 2020 to end well. If you’re looking for a way to have a positive impact yet this year, I hope you will see this as an opportunity:
I have just spoken with Noel Chomola, Principal of Wesley College, and he conveyed an urgent request. Ten new students have just been admitted but have no way of paying tuition. Ten new students are waiting -- right now -- to learn if a scholarship is possible.
In this final week of 2020, I hope that one of these 10 students can count on you.
If you haven’t read our story of David, I hope you will do that now. As a 2019 graduate, David is having big impact. And if you contribute to our scholarship fund, these 10 students – who are waiting to hear from us – can have big impact, too.
A scholarship would be a wonderful Christmas present. The real gift is equipping them to move into the world, to do good to others.
If you haven't already made a year-end gift to Wesley College, I hope you will prayerfully consider it. A year's tuition is $500 and $2,000 pays all costs for one student. Any amount will help. You can make a gift online, or mail a check to the address below.
With your help, I can share good news with Noel Chomola -- and 10 anxious students -- soon.
