Every year in Mwanza, Tanzania, runners race in the Rock City Marathon.  Mwanza, where Wesley College is located, got the nick-name "Rock City" due to the large rocks jutting out of the lake waters that give it a very unique and beautiful geography. Every year since 2019 Wesley College staff and students have both run in the race and also raised funds to support scholarships at Wesley College.

This year we wanted to bring Rock City to the United States!

Join our Virtual 5k Run to support students at Wesley College located in Mwanza, Tanzania. You may run at any time between now and November 4, 2023--when the official Rock City Marathon will happen in Tanzania. You will even receive a t-shirt to commemorate the fun!
