Dear Wesley College Community,
As we conclude semester one, I want to express my admiration and deep appreciation for the accomplishments of our students, faculty, staff, and community. Together, from around the world, we have connected meaningfully, creating entirely new ways to come together and to share our work.
And at every moment, amidst the backdrop of a de-centering pandemic, we have remained true to the values that are the hallmark of the United Methodist Church and Wesley College, Tanzania: recognizing the impact of our individual actions on others; engaging deeply with learning, teaching, creating, and researching; and embracing change, abiding with our mission which is to prepare students with focused academic excellence, using holistic formation, and a spiritual and intellectual balance in order to produce effective, concerned servants for the benefits of the community.
Following the passing away of our President, Dr John Magufuli, I would like to assure our partners and donors that Tanzania is healing and politically stable, thank you for all the prayers and condolences.
“In this season of rebirth, may you feel your faith renewed and your heart made new with the hope Easter brings.” “Happy Resurrection Day to a wonderful family!” “Praying your Easter will be bright with the hope and joy of our risen Savior.” “He is risen!"
From Wesley College, Tanzania, and to our families and friends around the globe, I wish you and your loved ones a happy Easter break.
Grace and Peace to you all
Noel Chomola
