You Changed 7 Lives!
Posted in the May 2025 Newsletter
I shared how amazing you all did with Harambe! week-- but I wanted to share more in depth of the big impact you truly made in lives in Tanzania.
This past Harambe! Week raised over $35,000 which is enough for 7 Scholarships!!!!!! In total we had over 40 donors spanning across the U.S!
Student Impact: Anna's Story
If you missed our Student Impact Day--you need to circle back and hear Anna Migera's story.
FGM (Female Genital Mutilation) is a common practice in Tanzania--and through amazing leaders like Anna, it is being combatted.
What is even more amazing- YOU helped to end this practice through YOUR support of Anna when she was a student and the many more students like Anna that are currently at Wesley College.
Listen HERE.
Volunteer Impact: Kristi's Story
We shared how YOUR support is found, not only in your donations,--but also your prayers and your presence.
We have been blessed to have MANY volunteers that shared the experience of Wesley College.
Kristi McClellan is one of those volunteers that saw first hand how her support is dramatically changing the lives of students and the communities in Tanzania.
Donor Impact: Katy's Story
Katy Wrona's story exemplifies one that you might most relate to---a donor who loves Wesley College and supports Wesley College Foundation through prayers and donations.
Katy shares her "why" and her passion for Wesley College Foundation--and we encourage you to hear her words here.
What I want you to see in these Impact Days is how YOU are amongst each of these women's stories. YOU are the hands and feet of love, support, prayers, donations, and presence in Tanzania.
Through YOU- seven lives were impacted and will be changed!
We had 40 donors spanning from Montana, Texas, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida--and many in between.
I can't thank you enough for taking the time, energy, and support to help the students in Tanzania and transforming communities in Tanzania.
What was even more meaningful- was seeing how many of our donations were done in honor of a loved one. This showed me that each of you are known for sharing yourselves and resources to others and so many people see that love and kindness you give. What an honor to have you be a part of Wesley College Foundation.
Peace and Blessings,
-Eric-
